Course Learning Objectives
1. The student will be able to detail and discuss the unique elements of both the Gospel of Luke and the Gospel of John in relationship to the other three Gospels.
2. The student will be able to detail the outworking of Jesus’ manifesto from Isaiah 61 throughout the Gospel of Luke, while considering Luke’s special interests in the supernatural, women, and the downtrodden.
3. The student will be able to outline the Gospel of John, detailing not only its purpose, but also John’s presentation of Jesus’ identity, the nature of faith, and the nature of life chapter by chapter.
